Allen Colombo | Director

Hello, I'm a filmmaker with North Carolina roots based in Los Angeles. In 2015, I co-founded Effie Studios, an LA-based production studio, where I'm currently a director and managing partner.

From 2010-2015 I was a features editor at the NFL, where I created The Rookie Handbook, a short-form animated series that ran as an intro to Thursday Night Football.

I've directed commercial projects for Amazon, GMC, Marvel; short films for Apple and the Alien franchise; and won the Special Jury Prize at South by Southwest with my film school thesis, a modernization of Moliere's The Misanthrope.
